A target pointer on a pressure gauge consists of a stationary red pointer positioned above the main black pointer. Not to be confused with a maximum/tell-tale/tattle-tale or drag pointer, it only shows a visual of a desired or "target" pressure. A dial in the center is used to reset the pointer. The pointer can be effectively used for multiple desired pressures on the same gauge. Eliminating the need for custom zone dials or making marks on the face of the pressure gauge.
