A minimum/maximum indicating pointer on a pressure gauge consists of two free moving pointers positioned above the main black pointer. Working on the same concept as a maximum indicating/tell-tale/tattle-tale or drag pointer, it records the maximum pressure the gauge has experienced but also records any drop in pressure. As pressure increases, the black needle moves upward, carrying the red needle along with it.  Once the desired pressure has been reached, the minimum pointer will be manually adjusted to rest directly behind the main pointer. When pressure decreases, the black needle will push the rear pointer to indicate and drop in pressure.  The maximum pointer will remain in place and show the maximum pressure achieved. Users can determine both maximum and minimum pressures reached on one gauge. A small dial in the center is used to reset the pointers.
